Every year, the RJ has a Best of Las Vegas Awards competition, both readers choice and editors choice. I generally agree with the choices with some notable exceptions. When the award goes to a chain, I often find myself thinking a mom and pop was better, or laugh at some like the Tropicana being voted the hotel Most Deserving of Being Imploded.

Apparently they haven't been to the El Cortez. FYI, the reason ANY hotel north of the Stratosphere is cheap is because they are all crap holes infested with cockroaches, crack whores and drug dealers.

No doubt Criss Angel is the worst act in 'Vegas right now and the BLUE MARTINI is the best bar for service, live music and people. Steiners is a close second. The Gin Mill should close its doors, or at least get an award for bad service and giving guests food poisoning.

My favorite buffet is Planet Hollywood, my favorite microbrew is Ellis Island. Where else can you get microbrew beer for $1.50 a glass? Plus the barbecue is out of the park great.
